Greetings Reader, I appreciate you taking the time to read this note. I am a retired Army veteran and have gotten behind on my mortgage due to the inflation of several bills. Recently, my insurances, electricity, and interest rates have gone up appreciably. The insurance on my house has gone up about 30%. My electricity contract expired and I had to get a new one. The transition has raised my electric rate by 4 cents/per Kwh. That translates to almost $80 more each month. On top of these, my lease of my vehicle had matured and I had to return it. I had to buy a used vehicle and the payments for it are higher than my lease was. As a retiree, my pay is not very much and it does not help that my ex-wife gets almost half of my retirement check. My current wife had to retire early from her job a few years ago due to health concerns. She has applied for SSDI, was denied, and has refiled her claim. During this time, she went back to school and recently graduated. That means her student loan payments will have to start being made soon. I do have a job, but the economy has my employer hurting, as well. I am asking for assistance with raising $7500 to pay the mortgage I am behind and a few debts. With paying those debts off, I would have enough breathing room to continue paying everything with my income. I pray that some of you will find it in your heart to lend a hand and some prayer.
