I’m a 68 year old woman, who is in need of a financial miracle, to save my home. When COVID-19 entered this nation, it literally devastated my home and my life forever. Little did I know in the beginning of 2020, that my household finances and my entire life would change drastically. Due to these changes, I am currently a widow, and I lost my beloved husband to the COVID virus on September 14, 2020. My whole world was forever changed. I have not only been in emotional turmoil due to the loss of my first love, and love of over 50 yrs, but I’ve been in financial turmoil, due to the extreme loss of income all at once. My husband was the breadwinner of the household, and his passing was very disheartening. He and I both retired when he was alive, but after three years, with very little income, it became very difficult for me financially. So, I decided to put my house in bankruptcy to try and save the house me and my husband and I bought together. Now that I’m in bankruptcy, I see that getting on bankruptcy was a huge mistake, so now I am about to lose my home and be homeless. So if anyone can be a blessing to me to help me save my home, I would greatly appreciate it, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. My monthly income is $1,971.62 and my bankruptcy mortgage payment is $1,181.00 a month, so that leaves me with very little to live off of. After paying all the necessary bills, I’m left with about $150 for the month. I have been in my home over 10 years and it is experiencing above average wear and tear. There are repairs that are constantly coming up and if I do anything outside my budget, it constantly leaves me in a position to be short for my bankruptcy mortgage payment. This home is the first home that my husband and I purchased. It is a reminder of the hard work and sacrifice we both put in to be able to be first time homeowners at that time. This house means so much to me and my family, and I just need some support, so that I will be able to keep my home and successfully pay my mortgage payment every month without falling behind due to expenses of my home repairs.
