I am here as a last resort because I don’t now know where to turn. I have exhausted all loan request and have been denied by all. I have been a first responder my entire life. (I’m 63 years old). In 2020, due to PTSD, I became disabled and unable to continue working. I applied for disability but it took me 2 years to get approved. During that time, I borrowed and borrowed to pay my obligations as I had never been behind on payments. This eventually caught up with me and the hole is so deep I can’t crawl out. I now face losing my home if I can’t come up with $3000. That is all it would take for me to reach the area where I can be back on my feet and be able to provide for my family. I know my story doesn’t sound as good as some I’ve read here, and I know others are also in need. I just tell it the way it is. I need $3000 to move on or I’ll probably wind up on the street.
