My name is Kent Lederer. I’m 77. I retired from Christian ministry in 2014, after serving congregations in Chicago, Savannah and Lansing, MI. In March 2016, I had emergency surgery to repair a burst large colon. Although I lost my large colon entirely, the surgeon was able to re-section the small colon to serve as both. However, I must wear a visible ostomy bag. This combination has worked well…until recently, when my general doctor told me that I now have a severe hiatal hernia. About 7 inches of my intestine is sticking out. I need to get that part of my intestine back where it belongs. It can get strangulated. This would cause necrosis of the intestine and the mesentery. This can cause life-threatening complications. My portion of the insurance to get it fixed is $7250. Paypal: @BlessingKent
