Hello and thank you in advance for your time and consideration. I am in need of $7000 to prevent foreclosure and remain in our home. Just over two years ago, we moved in with my father to care for him as he battled lung cancer. As he deteriorated, he required more and more care and it was necessary to step away from my client work as a freelancer to become his caregiver full time. Of course, I was glad to be able to make this sacrifice and at the time with his limited income, we were able to keep everything afloat.
When he passed away this past July, we were left to share the cost of his funeral with my siblings and then take on all of the bills of the home where we now live. Unfortunately, I have not been able to replace all of the client work that I gave up to take care of him and we are now frighteningly behind in the mortgage payments.
I am actively seeking new clients and exploring some more opportunities while taking on gig work to try to fill in some of the gaps, but it is simply not enough at the moment.
