To whoever is reading, please help me from the kindness of your heart. I am a single mother of two who is now facing possible eviction. I was working from home, paying my bills, doing my best to build my credit. Sometime in September 2023, I applied for my dream job with the federal government and I got the job. Out of ignorance I quit my other job thinking that I will immediately start working in my new position only to be told that it will take 6-8 weeks before i can start! I have been looking for a temporary job since then. I do not have a car which is why I work from home. I have survived on my savings since part of September till now. Unfortunately I do not have any resources to keep going and I do not want to miss this opportunity that is in front of me. I am not a lazy person, I am hardworking and always seeking to provide the best comfortable life for my kids and I. Please help me. My rent is $1300, electricity is $250, $internet is $150, gas $78 and phone bill is $150 and any extra I can use to buy ramen noodles for the kids and I to survive on until I start work is fine. I am not asking for money to pay my credit card bills or loans because I will resume paying those once I start working. Gosh I have learned a lesson.
