Hello! My name is Lyla and my family and I are in need of some help. After my mom died last year, it’s been hard for us financially and mentally. Then in January I lost my job. In February I had to euthanize my cat and my boyfriend lost his job. We finally have jobs! But our car broke down. We are behind in our rent from being unemployed, but are making payment. On top of all of that, my son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and my sister (who I take care of) broke her ankle. Her surgery is tomorrow 5/22. Our rent has turned into a court issue now and we owe $2844 just for that. I’m asking for $2000 to keep us in our home and for gas for rides to appointments.
