My name is Raj, I live in a college town. I drive Uber full time. Summer was a bit slow, but i was managing. Things fell apart in July when I was driving a female home and she thought I was being in appropriate. I wasn’t! My hands shake uncontrollably from time to time as I have Parkinson’s. It’s not been an easy road but I’m coping.
As you can imagine she reported me to Uber, my account was deactivated with no notice. Having no income wasn’t an option so I started giving cash rides to keep up while Uber investigated. I ultimately got my account back and continue to drive. However with bills piling up and rent about to be past due in a couple days cause I haven’t made enough yet this week to pay that either. Between depleting my savings and having a couple of off days because of my Parkinson’s and not being able to relax my muscles and nervous system I am falling behind more and more.
I’m asking for $1400 to pay rent but if I were to ask for what I need I would need 3000 just to help reduce the stress.
