I am a single mother of two boys who is a victim of crime. I was shot on 4-8-23 leaving a concert with my family. Some people were arguing due to traffic being jammed as I entered my vehicle with my family I was shot twice. I was in ICU until 5-20-23 and was discharged on 06-03-23 and was able to get caught up on my bills due to me working and my online boutique doing well but since then I have depleted my saving and my business money for inventory due to me being hospitalized for three months. So now I have to pay 7200 to save my house for me and my two boys by Monday 10-02-23 I have a eviction date set unless I have theses funds I am in dire need I tried all the resources that I could but no funds in my community. I lost my job I was working from home this was the position I held before I was shot so the company did pay me FMLA but as soon as I went back to work at the end of June. They fired me on 7-9-2023 and said I wasn’t making enough calls and my utilization was off but I didn’t feel that was a great reason to fire me due to me just coming back trying to get back to my life. I work as a Medical Assistant and my business is to send my two boys to college ages 12 and 10. I really need help ASAP I am appreciative and grateful for Whatever I’m not asking for no more than what is needed. I have never had this happen never asked for a handout but to keep a roof over my kids head a mother will do whatever she has to do to keep stability in her Children’s Life Please and Thank you.
