Hi, I cannot believe that I am here, basically begging for help.
I am a single mother of 3 beautiful children. I divorced their father 4 years ago, and he has refused to pay his alimony and child support since. I however had gotten myself past the need of his support until I lost my job due to being hospitalized in July . . At that time that happened I was engaged to whom I thought was the love of my life, And had financial support through him until just a few weeks ago. On thanksgiving of this year that man snapped. He beat me black and blue in front of my two oldest children, which obviously resulted in the end of that relationship.. I am trying so hard to make this right for my children. They deserve the world, and I am the only one guaranteed to try and give it to them. I am in the process of opening my own childcare center. Start up has been costly , but I am so far in I don’t want to give it up now. I will make this work!! I was just given no notice of things falling apart, and was not prepared.
the kids and I are currently sitting in a home without electricity. Water will be cut off next and we are facing eviction… all at Christmas time. My heart is broken and I feel as if I have failed my children. I don’t know what else to do but continue to look for part time jobs to fill the gaps, and Pray!!! I’m leaning so hard on my faith, for He has never failed me. I have never had it in me to ask for help, but here I am begging. I cannot los their home, I cannot watch them sit in the dark any longer. I have reached out to gov assistance places and been told they aren’t accepting applications until the new year. Mine will be the first submitted when they open up for them!!! I know you do not know me, but if you have taken the time to read this far, please feel my heart. I am doing this all for them. I am capable of so much more, just been left in the lowest of spots with not enough time to fix it on my own before it’s too late. I Appreciate any help or advice .
I am currently behind roughly 2,700 in rent and necessities such as electric water and insurance. Please if you can, help me keep this home for my kids this Christmas. 🙏🏻
