Hello and thank you for reading about our situation. My husband and I are both elementary school teachers with three kids of our own. After Covid we took a serious hit as things just came crashing down all at the same time. Our affordable sitter was no longer available and we doubled our daycare costs, the cost of food and utilities skyrocketed. We got hit with some major house repairs, as well. We didn’t see a raise in our district we both work in, as it took two years to settle our contract and once we settled we gave any retro money back to people we borrowed from and the rest went to try catching up on some bills. We have gotten into a lot of credit card debt and are trying so hard to get out from under it, meanwhile our house is falling apart and we can’t keep up. We just want a fresh start and to relieve some stress from our lives. We are coaching, tutoring, advisors for clubs, writing curriculum and Door Dashing to make ends meet but we are very behind in utility bills, we have other major repairs that need to be done to our home, and we are in danger of losing our home to bankruptcy if we end up going that route, which we are trying incredibly hard from having that happen. We would be incredibly grateful for any support you would be able to provide that would help us get back on our feet. We want to make better financial decisions with a clean slate, instead of making terrible money mistakes in desperation. We want to show our three boys how to manage money as well- learning and growing together. Thank you so very much for your consideration.
