Hello, I don’t ever ask for help from anyone. I raised my son alone by myself. I never received any government assistance and always worked two jobs and put myself through grad school. No matter what I do or how hard I try, I’m constantly fighting to stay afloat. Several years ago, I found out that the people who sold me my home hid a massive mold issue. My attorney didn’t do any depositions and worked with the defendants attorney to drop me as a client and award them legal fees. Despite all the corruption that occurred, I was not awarded a favorable appeal. I’m now left to pay their exorbitant attorneys fees. If that wasn’t enough, my current home was destroyed during a natural disaster and I am still recovering 4 years later. More recently, I was diagnosed with two rare medical conditions and was recently hospitalized. I can’t ever catch a break. I filed for reorganization of debt and I’m struggling to make these payments and my medical bills. I’ve had to see multiple doctors due to my conditions and atypical presentation, including going to Cleveland Clinic. I’m just so ready to give up. I don’t know how much longer I can work due to my illnesses. If you could find it in your heart to help someone who always helps others without ever asking for any help in return, I would truly appreciate it. I’m close to $100k in debt.
