Hello! About a year ago I was diagnosed with “degenerative disc, most severe at L4-L5 and L5-S1” in my lumber spine, my back, which causes me a lot of pain and discomfort. At times, the pain is so bad that I can’t even perform daily functions. I was working for a contract company and continued to go to work regardless of how difficult it was for me to just walk. On September 2023, after 10yrs of dedicated service, the contract company “let me go, no reason given”! Since then, I have exhausted ALL my funds, and had to move back in with my mother, who’s also going thru medical issues. I’m in debt over $15,000.00, not including certain personal items that I had to pawn just help my mother with bills and groceries. I have until next week to pay about $2,000.00 to get these items out from the pawn shop with daily interest rates accumulating. I also have a storage unit that I owe about $400.00, that’s due on Friday, or it will be auctioned off. I’m still in the process of looking for a job, regardless of my condition/situation. Last week, March 21st, was my mother’s 80th Birthday, and I couldn’t even get her a gift. Although she understands what I’m going thru, my heart was shattered, and it still is. She’s worried about me and I don’t want her to be.
