On February 10, 2024 my son of 29 died of a drug overdose . Yes, He was an addict that finally took him. We had so much hope and promise in him which made this a very hurtful loss. We are being responsible for what he has left behind and one or should I say two of those responsibilities is a 5 year old and a 4 year old that both have autism. I have become their legal guardian and now be there provider and raise them to the best of my ability.
The other side of this story is I am a 57 year old male with several health problems that I am currently trying to resolve. A day before my son past I was terminated from my employment all I have been able to do is get through the memorial and take care of these kids. Trying to get new employment bfrom you soout it has been a real struggle with taking care of these kids. I’m hoping to get something remote or start an online business. I’d like to have something to make time to care for these children.
There’s a lot I need to do and take care of. I don’t know how much I will need for the donation but in general I need to take care of food, rent, utilities, gas, clothes, daycare, and I really need a vehicle to transport the kids. I just need enough for about 3 months to give me the time to put plans in place and for me to have employment. I don’t know what your capabilities are but I have calculated for 3 months plus a vehicle (used) will be approximately 38,00.00.
