Once upon a time, 8 years ago my husband and his best friend opened a bbq joint! It went great until it didn’t… They closed shop and we lost everything. Of course that’s when I found out I was pregnant. We have rebuilt ourselves step by step over the years from the absolute bottom… still in debt but working through it. Well, I started getting my wages garnished for the car we got reposessed at the time.. owed $14k and came after me 7 years later for $28.5k.😭 We finally scrounged up some money for a car and loan payments and now have been blessed with a dead engine bill to the tune of $11k. I have 105k miles on it (just outside warranty) with no check engine light or overheating.. just a quiet knock. Of course this was after we buried my husband’s mother this past December as well as paid $30k for dental implants for my husband for hereditary gum disease…. I still owe $12k on a car that I need $11k for a brand new engine. I manage a steakhouse with an amazing crew that I would be no where without. I support my people daily and strive to never see them struggle in such a tough world where people are not getting any nicer. I am asking for whatever someone is willing to give…. I have bills I can’t catch up on. My husband needs the other half of his mouth done eventually which will be another $15k. I know the world is struggling. I know people are worse off than me…
Every day I work hard and try to be the light every one needs me to be. I’ve never “begged” for money, not once in my life… It’s my bed, and I’m laying in it. But if someone out there would be willing to ease the constant anxiety I have every day while still serving a smile on my face….. I would forever be eternally grateful. I would forever pay it forward. And I will continue to be the good person I strive to be and be the light for my people.. my family.. and for myself.
Lord please… I don’t know what to do to catch a break😭I just want to feel the sun again…
