Hello Everyone. My name is Gia and I’m here as a last resort to request help due to a surgery. At the end of July I was rear ended at a dead stop on the highway on my way home from work. My car was totaled and I was left with pain down my whole left side. After months of imaging we found out that the impact of the accident caused subchondral cysts and a labral tear that was exacerbated by the ball portion of my femur being too big for the joint.
On December 19th I will have a hip arthroscopy and femoroplasty to fix the issues, but it will leave me out of work and bed ridden for 3 weeks. I am the head of household and will be unable to pay bills or afford groceries in January due to missing work for that time frame and this will put me into debt. I won’t see the money for the insurance claim as the person who hit me only has 15k in bodily injury insurance and the surgery alone (not including all appointments and imaging) is just under 9k.
