I never thought I would be in a place where I’d have to ask for help like this, but I’m honestly scared right now. I’m facing eviction and don’t know how I’m going to keep my home this month.
I live with a nerve disease that causes constant pain and has taken away my ability to work. I’m waiting for my disability benefits and back pay to come through, and once it does I’ll be able to catch up — but right now I’ve run out of time.
I’m trying to raise $2,800 to cover rent and avoid losing the only place I have to live. Asking for help is incredibly hard for me, but I truly don’t have another option.
