Hello My fellow lovies , My name is Tiana I’m a 30 year old woman who is currently residing in a shelter with her 7 year old with autism and ADHD fleeing domestic violence. I’ve been in the shelter system since July due to domestic violence and sexual abuse. It hasn’t been easy on me, I had to leave my employment and many of our items behind. We are currently trying to manage on my daughter’s social security income until I can find an apartment and secure employment. Anything given out of the kindness of our heart will be used towards our necessities such as food, laundry cost, clothing, upcoming holidays for Gloriana ( Christmas and birthday), and items that will go towards our new apartment. It’s been a testing couple of months and it has taken a toll on my mental health, emotional well being as well as physical. I don’t normally like to ask for help but I’m in a vulnerable state and even kind words and encouragement is welcome.
