My story just for the last 6 years has been hard. 6 yrs ago on my birthday I found out my dad had cancer, he passed away 5 months later, 6 months after that at Christmas we received a no cause eviction so the landlord could bring the unit up to market value. We found an apartment, it was ok until 2023, in that year one of my license plates had been stolen. This was in August, had to replace my plates, September 3rd I was attacked, pistol whipped and shot at by a group of teens. The people associated with the attack lived in the building across from us and were involved in gang activity. The management wouldn’t do anything unless I gave permission to give my information to the other tenants as a witness. November, 2023 still, a homeless person broke into our unit in the middle of the night. Again police involved, the management wouldn’t even change our locks. January 2024, my uncle died on my birthday. He left a 12 yr old son behind. His son has been in state custody since. We finally have all background and security checks done and are in the process of getting this boy. This year though on my birthday again, I lost my job with no clear reason why. My savings is gone and I want to move to a better area to be mom again. This boy is on the spectrum and is also diagnosed with dd. I would greatly appreciate any help , I am trying to raise approximately 15000 for moving expenses and special needs items for my young cousin
