I really don’t know where to start because I have never asked for help before.
For over 40+ years I have worked and provided for my family the best I could and have been darn proud of what I have been able to accomplish through the years.
A few years back, my daughter talked me into get off the road and come stay with them where I could watch my twin grand girls grow up. A couple of years ago, my daughter ended up in a divorce and I bought a house where my daughter and grand girls could have a secure roof over their heads and not worry about anything.
Well, during all of this I had started having some heart issues and this past May I ended up having a double by-pass which ended up failing. Since May I have had 3 other heart procedures, and we still don’t know if things will work out this time.
During this whole time since May, I have not been able to work and draw a paycheck at all, which drains everything. we have been living off of credit cards for the last couple of months but those are now maxed out.
Between the mortgage, school expenses, car payments, utilities, food, etc., I completely drowning and have nowhere else to turn.
I’m not worried about me because I can go live anywhere. I worried about my grand girls. Worried about keeping a roof over their heads. Worried about keeping them warm this winter and worried about putting food on the table for them.
I have applied for disability, but we all know that it could take months and months before anything is ever decided.
