Greetings to all, and I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for taking the time to peruse this message. I am a 51-year-old African American who has endured discrimination at the hands of a group of colleagues.
The lead and her best friend have a partnership in manipulating anyone and any data that doesn’t make them look good. Then they two new team members who are players on another toxic level. One of them is extremely unprofessional, and she applies that at work. I have been present to meetings with yelling, constantly talking overs and personal attacks. She tends to force people to serve her and if you don’t play by her book and her disguises you will get abusive treatment and completely ghosted. She makes promises that she does not fulfill in the last minute. The other one uses theory to avoid doing anything. He has a theory for all but no practical experience instead resorting to techniques of gaslighting, constantly questioning and forcing you to justify what you are doing. They both have no clue of any procedures of the compant, they are not willing to apply them or consider them. They all control everyone else to comply with what they want. And together they intoxicate anyone who wants to do an efficient work or who questions them. If you confront them and beg for collaboration and teamwork, they ghost you completely, they gaslight you, they don’t show up at meetings, they contradict the agreements and start the discussions over and over again so you can’t complete your work. They deny all that was previously agreed. They tell you that you are creating stories, and they totally block you. Once your work is not done due to the lack of collaboration, they start questioning it putting you at bad shape. Because I brought to attention the unfair strategy and the incomplete work, I was removed from meetings that I needed to be part of with the explanation that I inserted myself too much. It got to the point that I was almost completely barred from doing my work. And at the last step they remove/fire you from the team as had happened to me and many others.
Even though my contract was originally until next year, they suddenly fired me without much explanation. I have two kids to feed and didn’t expect this right now at all. I am in dire need of assistance to rebuild my life until I find a new job. Your support and attention to this message mean the world to me, and I sincerely thank you for it.
