I was working for American Red cross, and now I have carpal tunnel in both hands. Was told to file for workman comp well they denied me. retained a lawyer and was told it will take a while before I would receive anything I was told it can take up to a year. I can’t even hold my grand baby because the pain goes up my arm. This has been going on since February 2024 I ask have been waiting to see the doctor went and got an EMG on both hands and was told I will have to have surgery, then i ask the lawyer if I could get any job was told no. I’m asking for at least to pay up my bills until then I don’t want to lose my home then my grandson birthday is coming up, I can’t even help my daughter out. If I can at least get help it will be a blessing I don’t know what to ask for due to this is my first time. 6,000.00 or whatever can begiven to help put me ahead until I can figure this out.
