Hi Everyone, first of all, I would like to thank this platform who helped or share their blessings to people anywhere in the world with financial crisis and I am one of them.
My story with financial crisis was due to online games. Last year in 2024 our finances was okay, my husband entrusted all of his earning to me because I know how to handle finances. Until one day, a friend of mine introduced me to online games. At first I was betting from $10, then $100. It was good at first because I always win, I able to earn $1,500 and used it for house improvement, I bought new appliances at home, and renovated old bathroom. I did not stop yet and increased my betting to $200 dollar, It was then I was slowly losing the games but always with high hopes that I can get a big wins and a jackpot. I still won big wins but this time to replenish what I’ve lost. Until I pawned my inherited jewelries from my Mother and my own jewellery. I borrowed money from friends even with 7% interest rate monthly, also I used all our savings/emergency fund and applied for personal loan at the bank. And finally to my desperate stage I bet $1000 each game, instead of winning, I lose the game. I became irresponsible player, In just 3 months I lost all our money, our emergency fund and drowning in debt. That savings was supposedly intended for our next big opportunity or anything for emergency, for our little family. Because we have US visa application on process, I am a Nurse by profession. I feel ashamed of my self and regretted what I have done. My husband have no idea about this, I cannot be transparent because I am concerned about his health, he might be stress and get sick about this matter and I cannot forgive myself if it happened. I already asked help from my family, and other celebrity with kind hearted but no response. Because I am asking for a big amount, I need $27,000 to replenish the savings I’ve lost and pay debt with interest and to claim the pawned jewellery.
I am praying hard that someone with a big and kind hearted will hear my story. I am begging for financial help, I am already stressed and on edge. I promise to stop from my engagements with online games and to change my life. And one day I can repay you all and give back to people who are also with same situation I am now.
