I am begging for your help today because my family has been hit hard over the last year and I am begging for help.
First, one of my sister’s was very ill with gastroparesis and I took care of her till she passed. She had no money or will, so I needed to come up with money to pay for everything, including the funeral. This was after paying for another sister’s funeral a year before, who had passed away from an open wound that was never able to be closed.
Then my grandson ended up with Guillian-Barre Syndrome. He was forced into acoma and intubated. He was in the hospital for many months and the medical bills were outrageous. There are still hundreds of thousands of dollars still owed on the account even with us helping to cover several expenses, due to all the charges and recovery costs.
My youngest son then ended up at Richmond Cancer Center with 2 masses on his throat. There was also internal bleeding, which required life flights from Norfolk to Richmond. None of this is cheap and trying to stay in town at a hotel is very expensive, not to mention the time lost for work over several months.
We also have one of my daughters who is currently fighting in court for full custody, because her 8yr old daughter told the school she was inappropriately touched by her father. My daughter is not with the father. He has had equal visitation rights the last 6yrs. But this process is also very costly.
Which brings me to why I am pleading for your help today. Unfortunately, I have two forms of lupus and I am supposed to stay away from stress. Obviously, as you can see from the situations above, this was not possible. I ended up getting really sick and I had severe swelling along with almost losing my vision. Because of the swelling it caused issues with my mouth and I had several teeth that broke off. I was told by my dentist I couldn’t get partials and would need implants for my teeth. Unfortunately, the cost to replace my teeth is $26,000. Due to having spent all the money I had on medical bills, attorney’s costs, funerals, flights, hotel expenses and travel expense to get back and forth to all these places, I sadly don’t have any money left to take care of myself in the end.
I am begging you to help me during these difficult times and get my teeth fix. Sadly, if I don’t get them fixed it can cause greater health issues and possibly even death. I want to be here for my kids and grandkids, so please help me to make sure I am healthy and able to be here for them when they need me.
