My husband and I have always had an open door policy. Anyone that’s ever needed help we were always there for. Even if it put us back we would always be there. A few years back we lost our home when it became to much for us to handle with everyone there. We bought an RV for just the two of us and thought it would be great. And it was, until it wasn’t. We always said that if we ever needed help we would hope that someone like us would be there to help and so we just kept doing what we thought was right. We ended up moving a few times because we put other people’s needs ahead of our own. Finally we had had enough and moved out of town. We found a place and we’re happy for a few months but with winter coming it was time to find something more permanent. We hired someone to tow our RV and unfortunately they did the opposite and ripped off the back of our trailer after getting stuck. They dropped the trailer and took off and left us. We lost our home. We lost everything we had thought we would always have. We’re now in a city we know nobody in. Homeless, cold, tired and hungry. We’ve asked a few people for help only to be told right now isnt a good time. If only we had said the same thing we would still be in our home. But that’s not who we are and we would still help anyone with anything. Asking for anything for us is really hard but right now we don’t know what else to do. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Anything at all would be so much appreciated.
