Hey my name is Alex,
Im 28 now, couple years ago I had to leave my parent’s home and it was hard for me because I had no savings, my credit wasn’t good, I had my dog(Pitbull) so it was hard to get accepted for an apartment that would take her and I in. I also had traffic offense on my record(driving on a suspended license) because I couldn’t afford car insurance and got it later when I could and because it had an SR22 it was very expensive and for 4 years I was being financially choked with rent, phone, bills, car payments and car insurance and have barely made it by. I got promoted at my job so I make a bit more but with rent going up and inflation rapidly going up my raise basically got eliminated cause it balanced out and then overpowered it.
My dog has been sick for the past 2 years so I’ve also had to keep up with her medical bills and it’s just all been so much and whenever I manage to put some kind of savings aside something happens and it’s taken away, example tires needing replacing, broken car windshield etc.
What I’m asking for is just help with breathing. Money to just help me get on my feet, $2500-$3000 would make such a huge impact for me cause I can put someone aside for an emergency fund, catch up on what I’m behind on, not stress about the next round of medicine for my dog and just get my life on track because it’s just been really hard for past 4 years and I feel like I’m reaching a breaking point where I just won’t be able to keep up.
