I am 56 year old mother of 4 children ,3 of whom are still studying 2 are at university and 1 doing year 14 and looking forward to to university in 2024.My husband died of covid in July 2021 after five days of sickness and was left with the duty to take care of the family. The house that we lived with my husband before he died is now being claimed by his children from his late wife. They said it was bought by their mother and my husband had inherited it from their mother through marriage . So that leaves me and my children homeless. I am seeking finance to purchase a home for me and my children for about£170000
So due to these difficulties l had to borrow some money from people so that l travel to the UK to work for the family.I migrated to the Uk in October 2022 for work under the skilled work visa as a carer . In April 2023 l was diagnosed with cervical cancer so l had to undergo a rough time of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. So due to this treatment l had to travel everyday to the hospital could not work . So l asked my company to let me work on weekends since l wad not getting treatments on weekends that l get little money for upkeep.So l was doing 24hours pa week instead of 44hours which made me not able to cover rentals bills and food and to carter for university fees and accommodation for my children at home.l had to borrow to top up on what l got paid since l was not permitted to take public funds.This has left me with money owed to people
l just finished the treatment on the 10th October 2023 which left me so tired and all other side effects from chemotherapy and radiotherapy. I cannot go back to work right away l need to recover for a while then try to go back to work. With all this am looking for assistance to be able to finance me and my children back in Africa.
