I graduated with a degree in Marketing in May 2019. My first job out of college went well, I loved the work, the collaboration, etc. Then the pandemic. I was laid off along with many others. After the pandemic jobs just…changed. Now it is expected to do more for less. Okay, I thought, I can pay my dues. Now few jobs are offering benefits. Okay, I can get some experience then go for a better job. Now jobs expect you to bring your own equipment (laptop, camera, editing software subscriptions, iPad, etc) Okay, I had a little money saved and the rest I can put on credit so I can get a good job.
Obviouslly you know where this is going. Jobs still were not paying much. The interest on my 2 credit cards is eating me alive. All totaled it’s $4,326 and some odd cents but all I want is to reduce it so the interest isn’t killing me every month.
I’m still working and gaining experience, I’m still doing my best to look for something with better pay and benefits. I even have a part time job at night and a side hustle too. The expense of life is just absolutely slaughtering me rn and leaving me living paycheck to paycheck.
I need help. I need relief. I need rest. If you can help I’d be so grateful!
