Donation for work transportation

Hello. My name is Gina Mondile. I am a 45 year old single mother and this is my story…

I work 3 jobs right now trying to dig myself out of the financial hole I found myself in after the summer time. See, I bartend and in my area, because we are so close to the Jersey shore, the bars do not do well at all during the summer months. And, even though I was working 6 to 7 days a week, I still could not keep up with my rent payments. With that said, I decided that in addition to my painting company I was trying to get off the ground and my full time job at PT’s Bar & Packaged Goods, that I would pick up a third bartending job at Gametime Sports Bar. This meant I would be working 7 days a week but, I was okay with that if it meant I could dig myself out of the hole and be able to give my son more opportunities to give him the life he deserves. All of my hard work finally started to pay off and then one night I received a phone call from a very good friend of mine who was in a really bad car accident and her and her 10 year old daughter needed a ride home from the hospital.  At the time, another good friend of mine was at my house. I had to work in the morning so I asked him to take my car to pick them up so I could at least get a little sleep. Then I would I give him a ride back to his house once he was back and just go right to work from there. Well, on his way back to my house after dropping my girlfriend and her daughter off home, he got into an accident himself. He was OK but, my car… not so much. For 2 days I racked my brain trying to figure out what to do. I thought of borrowing a vehicle from my ex husband but, that meant fixing his car first. I thought of renting a vehicle until I was able to get mine fixed. But, the cheapest I could find was almost $200 for only 36 hours of renting. So, that wasn’t feasible either. I finally decided to buy another car. I found the perfect car which I had done my research on. It was a great car with only one owner. And, I was buying the car from a salesman who also happened to be a very good friend of mine. So, I knew %1,000 there was nothing shady going on and wasn’t being sold a lemon. And, after working so hard to build my credit, the banks were finally going to approve me. But, only for %80 of the total cost. Which now means I either have to come up with a cosigner or put down $4,000. I had a friend try to cosign for me but, unfortunately,  he wasn’t accepted. I’ve tried everything I know to do and just keep hitting road block after road block. I have a lot of pride and have always thought if I didn’t want to work for it then I didn’t really deserve whatever it is I wanted. So, I’m not one to ask for money from anyone. But, right now I really need the help. And, I was taught as a child, part of being an adult is knowing when to ask for help. So, here I am, swallowing my pride and begging you for some help. Even if it isn’t for the whole amount, anything will help. Thank you for your kindness and God bless.
