My mother passed away a few months ago. It’s the worst feeling in the world! I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I’m the only child left therefore I’m left to figure out all the paperwork, legal stuff, etc. In addition to that, she left me the house she lived in. That’s a good thing in the long run but I wasn’t really prepared to manage a house. Get finances in order takes time. By time waits for no man and that’s where my problem arises. My family and I (wife and kids) are living in the house now. When the cold weather came I realized repairs need to be done to keep the draft out. But the worst part about that is the boiler doesn’t work. I had someone look at it and he said it needs to be replaced.
