Hello my name is Angie! Thank you for taking your time to read my story. I greatly appreciate it.
About 5-6 years ago, my mother and I were both diagnosed with breast cancer. I was already stage 4 and she was stage 1. I made bed back home with them to be able to support one another through the hard times that lay ahead. I have now undergone over 10 surgeries and my mom’s cancer came back stage 3 this time and it’s a rare type called inflammatory breast cancer. To make matters more difficult, about 2 years ago, my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia and of course he is still here at home with us. I became the care provider for them both and support them the best i possibly can but it has become extremely difficult.
I am now 40 years old, my mother is 70 and my father is 80. My last surgery was last year, it was a 26 hour surgery with one year bed rest and life time recovery and therapy, not to mention my medications and more surgery that lies ahead. Due to my situation I am unable to work to provide for my parents or even support them in any way. I do expect to eventually get better but I do not know what to do until then, but I haven’t given up hope.
About a month and a half ago, our only car we had just purchased was involved in a hit and run accident while parked across the street from my house and it was totaled. My insurance company denied our claim and now I have no means of taking my parents and myself to any of our doctors appoints, surgeries, therapies or anywhere else that we need to go. Nor do I have the funds to order a ride every single day.
I am at rock bottom and I have nobody to turn to for any kind of help and I need to support my parents somehow.
I never thought a day like this would come, where I have to reach out for this type of help but I don’t know what to do considering I have not time. We have already missed a total of 9 appointments within the past 1 and a half months and our health will not allow us to miss any more.
Please find it in your hearts to support my cause and save our lives! I am not ready to lose both my parents at once. I am only trying to collect enough money (as fast as possible) in order to purchase us a reliable car to make it to our appointments, therapy, chemotherapy, surgeries, and more.
if there is anything you can help me with I would be so grateful and even willing to somehow pay it back. To be honest, I’m not sure how all this works but I am willing to do what it takes to help support my family. I believe anyone in my situation would do the same.
Thank you again for taking time from your lives to read my story and I pray to god that someone or anyone helps before I lose my parents. Because that’s the only destination for them and myself, considering I am unable to work and provide for any of us .
Thank you so much for the blessings you have and are able and willing to help bless others in need! I am grateful and proud to know good people are all around us. You are angels!
God bless you and Have a beautiful day!
