At the end of my rope

I am a 63-year-old man who has never had to beg for anything in his life. I was a carpenter framer all my adult life, a maintenance supervisor, and even owned my own call center. Then Covid came, and I lost the company. I became disabled and have 2 massive abdominal hernias. I can barely walk. I’m in a medical care center awaiting a major operation, and I went thru all my savings, and my credit cards are maxed out. I’m getting a disability check that is a joke, and I’m going to lose the room I’ve been renting out for years now because I can’t pay the rent anylonger. I also support another disabled person who’s even worse off than I am. I have a laptop and do digital paintings I’m willing to sell, or I can even do some part-time remote work for $350 a week; that would get me by. A hand-up, not a handout, is what I need. I tried borrowing but they say my income is too low, no kidding. If I had a high income, I wouldn’t need to borrow. I’m at the end of my rope, I really need help.
