I am a 60-year-old woman. I had a full-time job, but I was out of work due to a medical condition I was recently diagnosed with. I have painful bladder syndrome, and it is really painful. In the past, I was always healthy, so this came as a big surprise, and it has changed my life.
I am in the process of waiting to be approved for social security disability, and they take a long time to either approve or deny your application. In the meantime, I am not earning money to help me while I am waiting for them.
I have never been one to get government help, such as food stamps, and I have worked all my life since the age of 16 years old. I truly do not like to ask for money from people, but I am really in a desperate situation.
Also, I will need to go through some treatments soon, as I don’t yet have social security disability or insurance until I am approved for it, I can’t help myself like I usually would.
I need money to survive on and to pay for treatments until I get disability.
I estimate that I will need about $5,000 to $8,000 to pay my bills, eat, and get treatments.
