Journey through Adversities
I am currently seeking financial assistance due to unforeseen circumstances I have recently encountered. I moved to the United States with my two kids a little over one years, aiming to establish a business, create passive income online, and venture into real estate and shipping to support my family and parents back home. Initially, we stayed with family, but as my son approached his second birthday, I noticed he wasn’t talking or responding to his name. Concerned, I had his ears evaluated, and after numerous assessments, he was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
His behavior began to change, making our living arrangement with my relatives challenging, as he became disruptive and I felt guilty for disturbing other household members. I started searching for a place of our own, but the budget I had set aside wasn’t enough to cover the rent in the low-income areas. Concurrently, I pursued online income opportunities such as drop shipping and eBay resale, hoping for flexibility to accommodate my son’s appointments.
Despite my efforts, generating enough income proved difficult. I eventually resorted to a 9-5 job, but the high costs of daycare and transportation significantly diminished my weekly earnings. Despite the struggles, I persevered, but the demands of my son’s therapy forced me to miss work frequently. With no reliable support system for my kids when school or daycare was closed, I was constantly pulled away from my job. I managed to secure a rental place, using up most of my savings, but my efforts in generating income online were met with setbacks. My Amazon KDP account was unexpectedly canceled, leaving me confused and without any earnings.
As my financial situation deteriorated, I turned to delivery services like Doordash and Uber, taking my kids along for the ride. However, my car soon encountered mechanical issues, draining my already limited resources. While these gigs helped pay some bills, it wasn’t enough to sustain us. Struggling with maxed-out credit cards, overdue bills, and depleting cash, I found myself in a challenging position. I have tried various business ideas but the lack of consistent income has hindered my progress.
I have been the primary breadwinner in my family, and while the children’s father is doing what he can, I am essentially a single mom. Despite my determination, my efforts to create wealth for my children have been hindered by financial setbacks. I am reaching out for help, hopeful that someone might be willing to offer assistance.
