My name is Father Carl Sadsoeitoeboen, TOCC. I am an Old Catholic Priest (from a Non-Roman Catholic Church) and currently work as a foreign teacher at Shanghai Cunzhi High School in China. Alongside my teaching responsibilities, I continue my pastoral mission of supporting vulnerable young people, especially female college students and senior high school students in Thailand who are facing difficult financial circumstances while pursuing their education.
I understand that you may receive many requests for assistance from individuals and organizations around the world. Many people hope for your generosity, and I truly respect the great responsibility you carry in deciding where your support can create the greatest impact. However, if this letter has the opportunity to be read by you personally, I humbly pray that you may open the door of your heart and consider sharing a small portion of the blessings entrusted to you to help these young women.
The students I support are young women with dreams, abilities, and strong determination to complete their education and build meaningful futures. Unfortunately, many of them struggle with basic daily needs, including food, accommodation, transportation, educational materials, and other essential expenses.
When poverty and financial pressure become overwhelming, some vulnerable young women may be tempted to seek quick sources of income, including entering the sex industry/prostitution, because they feel they have limited alternatives to meet their basic needs. My purpose is not to judge these young women, but to help ensure that financial hardship does not take away their dignity, their safety, or their opportunity to choose a better future.
Through this mission, I hope to provide them with another path: the opportunity to remain in school, continue their education, and develop the knowledge and skills necessary to become independent and contribute positively to society.
For one semester, the total financial support required for these students is approximately USD 10,000. Although I have been contributing from my own salary and personal resources, I am unable to reach this goal within the necessary timeframe. Therefore, I humbly ask whether you would consider supporting this mission with a contribution of USD 3,500–4,500.
Your support would not simply provide financial assistance. It would be an investment in education, human dignity, and the future potential of young women who are working hard to improve their lives. Your generosity would help provide the basic stability they need to remain focused on their studies and pursue a brighter future.
I am committed to transparency and accountability regarding any assistance received. I would be honored to provide information regarding the students supported, the expenses covered, and the educational progress made through this mission.
