I am in need of some financial help to fix my teeth. :-(
I have never asked anyone for money before, not even my parents, ever since I turned 14 years old I have been on my own financially. Everything I have, I paid for (unless it was gifted to me).
Here is why I need help now though. I am an alcoholic in recovery and have been sober now for almost 6 years. When I was drinking heavily, I stopped going to the Dr and the Dentist for fear that they would know that I had been drinking. This led to a lot of cavities forming in my mouth and needing some root canals. A few years after having the root canals done, they failed and broke off causing more food to get down into the socket becoming infected. I went to the dentist the other day and they told me it would cost me almost $20,000 to have some teeth pulled and to have new teeth put in. I don’t have that kind of money considering I live in the most expensive state in the country (California) and I currently make $21/ hour. I have no extra spending money to put towards it, and nothing that I can sell that would be of enough value to pay for my teeth. I don’t know what else to do short of driving down to TJ Mexico and having it done slightly cheaper.
You would be making a girls year/lifetime if you’re able to help me out! I REALLY do not want to lose my smile!
