Locked my keys out of car

Hello, I work 40 hours a week and live in California, rent is so high and I have been struggling. I’m not asking for much, but today I was exhausted after work, didn’t think twice and for the first time after 14 years of driving the same car… I accidentally locked my keys inside. I didn’t know what to do, so I called a locksmith. They didn’t day anything about how much or what, so I trusted it’d be reasonable. It ended up being $355 and it was SO MUCH for me, rent is due in a few days and that’s what I was going to use it towards. I have a photo of the receipt the man wrote me. I would just like help getting that back so I may use it for rent, please. Thank you for reading.
