Hi, the engine in my car blew due to a series of unfortunate events starting with filling my gas tank with fuel i didn’t expect to be drastically harmful to my vehicle. I unfortunately have not even paid half of the car loan off so getting another used car is not an option. It isn’t a new car but it was well taking care of and drove perfectly before this incident. Replacing the engine will basically get me a zero milage car that i already know and trust. Moreover i already have a payment plan that i am comfortable with altho my car insurance and rent have gone up drastically in the last year. I am usually not the kind of person who will reach out for help but the more time i am without a vehicle the less overtime i can do or look for higher paying jobs i can apply for to cover the rising costs of bills and food. I am currently staying with a best friend who lives 2 miles from my current job so that i can walk back and forth but it is winter and my 52yr old back and knees wont take this for very long especially after working a man ufacturing job all day. I, who has always given without asking many times when even when i have been without am begging to be given a break to be able to stay on my feet and earn my share. The cost of the replacement engine plus labor will total $6,000 USD and if there is an Angel out there who can cover paying the vehicle off plus the repair that would be $20k. I figured i’ve never asked for help before so why not go for it right? Even if i can get $3,000 for the down payment so that the mechanic can order the engine and begin the work would be a Godsent.
