I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for assistance. I am the owner of Sage Marie’s Coffee and Tea, and I am currently organizing a charity event that is very dear to my heart. Unfortunately, I have encountered an unexpected setback, and I am in desperate need of your help.
With just a short time left before the event, I found myself in the unfortunate position of losing the sponsors I had previously lined up. This turn of events has left me feeling incredibly overwhelmed and anxious, as the success of this event is not only important to me personally but also to my entire team who have been tirelessly working alongside me.
Despite this setback, I refuse to give up. Cancelling the event at this stage simply isn’t an option, especially when so many people are counting on us. Our event aims to bring together our community in a celebration of generosity and giving back. However, without the necessary funds, we are at risk of not being able to cover essential expenses such as the venue, video production, equipment, DJ, singer, host, chef, and swagbag giveaways.
Furthermore, a significant portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Uncle Nearest HBCU Challenge, a cause that holds great importance to us. Supporting education and opportunity within historically black colleges and universities is something that we are deeply passionate about, and we are committed to making a meaningful contribution.
