It’s hard to ask for help but I think it is my last resort.
I am a single mom who has started a business called Bella Capital (after my daughter) and it is an asset recovery company that will hopefully be able to give back to people all over the country. As well as doing something to help survivors of physical and pychological abuse.
My story starts with the end because the beginning was horrendous, and I am striving for the end to be as beutiful as possible. Especially because I need to support my daughter myself. That is my ultimate goal.
I hate feeling like I pity myself and I can only speak for myself on here. So here it goes…
A ‘friend’ of mine who I used to live with raped me and got me pregnant. He then moved to Mexico so he would have a better chance in not paying child support and says that I can “ask” him for money when I need it. He lies about having a job because he owns his own website design business but still takes from the government and continues not to help me financially with my daughter (but gets visitation?). So, the pychological abuse has always been there (along with some physical) with his narcissistic and controlling behaviors, and he is a professional at it.
He “let” me drive his car but that was totalled out a few weeks ago and he took the insurance money (which he is entitled) but knows how much we are struggling. So, we need a new car and help with getting this business up and running so I will be able to break apart from the last thing he is controlling me with…money. I want to be able to support my daughter myself and show her through my actions the right thing to do not the easy thing.
