At 62 and if I am very honest with my situation, I feel that I have not achieved much since I arrived to America 22 years ago from Africa. It is not that I have not worked hard, rather what I can term as hard luck may have been one factor that had hindered financial success till now. I can honestly say that I have also been working persistently over these years but however not persistent at a job because we have been relocation from state to state due of job mobility mainly occasioned by my wife who sadly has been the major bread winner.
I will gladly say that I have a niche in transportation. I ran a medical transportation company in Louisiana for almost 8 years. I had close it down as many did, because I went into debt because of high insurance premiums that made it impossible to remain in business. In between the transportation venture, I worked for Walmart, several other job that I need not to mention here.
Unlike many immigrates, my non completion of a university education is also a major contributing factor. I did enroll in colleges, but along the line had to quite because I had to do more than one job to help my God given wife dealing with financial need for children in school/college even at present.
I will say this, and God will bear me witness, I will recycle successes of goodwill from what I termed assured success in my new quest for continual human endeavor
All meaning contribution will be channeled solely for the purpose of getting a van and the accessories ..insurance, equipment and certifications . I need to move and redirect my efforts driving for Uber because I make far less that minimum wage in Arizona.
There are much that I can say here, as to why I am seeking help. Such would be countless request from family and friends in Africa who thing life here is on a platter of gold not realizing that there are days that I drive 10hrs for Uber.
I know what goodwill is all about. I extent that always even with my very meager resources. My life has been governed by love for humanity. I believe and Know for sure that whatever you so, that will you reap.
I am counting on men of goodwill, love and desire to see others with genuine desire to elevate there situation to come to my aid. I want to that you in advance should you be moved to act accordingly
