The road hasn’t been easy. A significant blow came in the form of a 50,000 Euro loan we had to secure during the pandemic to keep our dream afloat. Now, the bank is threatening to dismantle everything we’ve painstakingly built. The weight of this financial burden looms large, jeopardizing not just our business but the livelihoods we’ve created for others.
In the face of adversity, our commitment to quality remains unwavering. Animus Craft Brewery is not just a business; it’s a labor of love. Every drop of our carefully brewed beer embodies our dedication to the craft, and every patron who walks through our doors becomes a part of our growing family.
The challenges were compounded when the street where we established our bar underwent construction for a staggering one and a half years. Despite reaching out for assistance, the government of Barcelona remained unresponsive, forcing us to make the difficult decision to close our doors temporarily. This setback cost us dearly, both financially and emotionally.
Hailing from Argentina, we brought with us the dream of creating one of the world’s finest craft beers. The circumstances beyond our control have made this journey tougher than we could have imagined. Yet, our passion remains unyielding, and we are determined to overcome these hurdles.
