I hope this message finds you well. As a 60-year-old Veteran and loving guardian to my adopted grandson, I am reaching a turning point in my career and personal life. With the desire to be more available to my grandson and contribute positively to my community, I am seeking support to make a career transition and start a new venture.
I am requesting $6,000 to cover the costs of a bookkeeper training program, upgrading my 10 -year old computer, and increasing my notary offerings from launching these businesses. Investing in professional training and certification as a bookkeeper will not only enhance my skills, but will also open doors to helping small business owners succeed. This training is essential for me to provide top-notch bookkeeping services to clients and establish myself as a credible professional in the field. I will also be able to work as a remote notary to help individuals unable to travel for notary signatures.
This change will not only benefit my family by allowing me to be more present for my grandson but will allow me to put my notary seal to good work by creating opportunities to give back to the community. I intend to provide a “giving day” once a month where I will provide free notary work for local military groups/organizations.
