My name is Becca and my daughter and I are in a dire situation. Her father/my partner wasn’t always a bad person to be with. At first he was kind and there weren’t very many red flags. As the years passed though it was like he turned into a different person. The abuse started and now it’s become unbearable. I worry for my daughter’s safety and mine as well. But since I am currently disabled due to my seizures after my stroke two years ago I no longer have the means to work and save enough to leave and move back across the country where my family is. I don’t have anyone in this state besides a handful of friends and they are understandably unable to house us both. I’ve lost my spark at this point and my mental health has taken a dive because of it. The best possible solution for my daughter and I is for us to have support and family close by for help which is all out of state. Any bit of help would make the world of a difference. And thank you in advance for reading my story of what my daughter and I are going through. Even if just one person helps it would make the world of a difference.
