Please, I desperately need help to avoid eviction today! My roommate spent the rent money after telling me he had paid it. In the end, he texted me and said that he’s already gone, pack and move . The landlord knocks on the door and tells me I have to leave because he never paid anything. He finally agreed to let me spend the night tonight and be out in the morning. I am desperately looking for some way to not be on the street with my two small dogs Marley and Karley. Marley is pregnant also and due to have her puppies very soon. We left an abusive situation last year from my common law husband of ten years. We were sleeping in our truck to escape and start a new life. Me and my dogs that is but a group of people stole my trailblazer and cut it in half and scrapped it. A friend gave me their old camper but the powers that be sold it out from under me and traded it for a motorcycle. I lived on the street outside, in a churchyard with my two dogs in this heat for two months. The roommate let me stay here. I was helping them with a project to earn the rent money and they misappropriated the money because the landlord Rudy never got the funds and I was less to believe it had been paid.
Going forward, he will rent to me today if I pay the 750.00 rent for October. This will give me a chance. Otherwise, I have nowhere to go with my dogs. They are good girls. I promised them I would keep them safe and they have been through enough. I am looking at housing options but i need time. In a few short hours I must step out and I have no vehicle, no money.
