Hello, I have been dealing with recurrent pregnancy loss for the past year and a half, and the experience has taken a serious toll on me physically, mentally, and financially. I have had five miscarriages in total, including four within the past year. Each loss has been painful in its own way, and the repeated appointments, recovery, stress, and grief have made it hard to keep up with everyday life.
After my most recent miscarriage, I had to quit my job. The physical pain was intense, but the emotional impact was just as difficult. I was struggling to function and could not keep up with work while trying to recover. I went without a job for a couple of months, and during that time, I relied on loans and side work, including DoorDash, to cover basic expenses. Those choices helped us get through the moment, but they also left us with more debt and bills to repay.
I now have a new job scheduled to start, and I am grateful to have work again. Even so, we have fallen behind financially, and it has been hard to catch up while dealing with rent, household bills, loan payments, and the costs connected to my miscarriages. Our rent and monthly bills are about $2,000, which does not include the money we still owe or the everyday expenses we need to manage.
After so many losses, I was finally referred to a specialist who may help us understand what has been happening. The appointment is coming up in a couple of days, and it costs $350. I really do not want to miss this visit because it could be an important step toward finding answers and receiving the care I need. After waiting so long for a referral, missing the appointment because of money would be heartbreaking.
Any amount of help would make a real difference right now. It would help cover the specialist appointment, keep us closer to paying our rent and bills, and give us some room to recover from the debt we have taken on.
