- I’m a disabled man. I live in a mobile home that I own. It’s located in a trailer park. I recently went through a nasty divorce and she was the one that was paying the lot rent. My lot rent is $640 a month. I live on the outskirts of a decent size city. I can’t work. After my wife left, my world turned upside down. My bills started stacking up and I have received 3, 30 day pay or quit notices. I have borrowed from my family and friends,but I can’t raise enough to pay the rent. Now I’m being threatened by the company that runs the trailer park. They say I’m going to have to vacate the premises in 30 days. I don’t have anywhere else to go. No one can help me anymore. I’m now 3 months behind. I’ve tried to make arrangements with the trailer park company. They told me if I can get the funds for at least 2 of the 3 months, I can stay.
