Hello all. I am a single mom working 40+ hours a week and I’m asking for help with my rent. My children are ages 13 and 7 years old.
When I’m not working my full time job, I have been using food/ shopping delivery services to try to help.
I am physically exhausted trying to work all the time and I can’t keep using our only vehicle to do these food delivery services.
I am filled with anxiety about how to make ends meet constantly.
I am asking for $500 to help me finish paying my rent. I currently have $500 and there’s a $150 late fee.
Receiving this help would allow me to catch up financially, let my body rest for a day while spending quality time with my children.
My mom passed away in February 6, 2010 in my arms from cancer. My Dad passed away May 18, 2025 from health issues. My children’s father is on child support but does not contribute financially or medically. Yes I have reported it to our Attorney General. I carry our health insurance offered by my full time job. We are not on Medicaid and do not receive any food assistance.
I am physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted. I am burnt out from working all the time trying to provide for us. Constantly struggling to put food on the table and keep gas in my tank. I battle knowing that I am doing everything I can to provide for us and still feeling like a complete failure because of how much I work and we are still struggling. 257
We live in a 1 bedroom apartment in a rough part of town because it’s what I can afford. I have a used 2012 car and I’ve got to maintain it for transportation to and from my full time job.
I ask that you’d find it in your heart to help my family. This is not easy coming on the Internet and asking for financial help. I know that God will provide for us and I have faith in Him.
