Hello! My name is Melissa. I’m a single mom (for 14 years) and I am in danger of losing the home I rent in St.Augustine Florida. We moved here eight months ago for a better life and instead I’ve faced hardship after hardship since arriving. I am an architectural designer and have applied to 44 jobs in the city of St. Augustine and surrounding areas, and not one interview has come from any of them. The cost of living has become so extreme that food or rent has become the daily dilemma. Right now my rent is unpaid for May and I have nothing towards June’s rent. I’m here to beg for help to catch up so that I can keep my children and I in our home. Job recommendations are welcome also! It you helps us , I assure you, you are helping GOOD people! My main goal in life is to one day be able to help others, always has been since childhood… all I need is to get to a place where I’m not treading water anymore.
