The Plea:
Hello – thank you for taking the time to look at this posting.
My name is Ashley and this Sept. 2025 my federally grant funded job ended due to the grant itself reaching the end of its cycle. My job was not written into the new grant and I decided to take the Unemployment offered to me as a chance to really consider my career and what I wanted, let alone, needed to do next. I tried doing online work for data entry, surveys, and tarot readings to supplement the little Unemployment I was getting along the way. Unfortunately as of the end of April 2026 not only did those benefits end but I realized the online gig work was not working.
I am currently in the process of submitting applications to local jobs, however, before any of those jobs get back to me, let alone interview, hire, and pay me – I will likely have to pay all the bills for this month and part of next. I have come to beggingmoney because my friends and family are nowhere well off enough to have extra money to help me through, but if I don’t stay on top of my bills then the debt I have spent the past 10 years trying to alleviate will only get worse.
If you have the money and the generosity to spare I humbly ask you send it my way so that I can at least have this month to get a job, let alone not spiral into more debt.

- Total Credit Card Debt = $932
- Total Loan Debt = $253
- Total Debit Owed= $8,728
The Request:
2 months of Expenses ($7000)
OR
Total Debit Owed ($8,728)
[It feels too greedy to ask for my debit AND a month of expenses to be covered, but, if possible, that would be ($12,228)]
The Promise:
I come from generational poverty and spent my 20’s failing forward in my effort to grow out of that mindset and way of handling money. Being where I am now is rough but does not stop me from continuing to strive for a better financial mindset for myself. As such I have bi-weekly appointments with my credit union financial advisor to work on those things, though right now our biggest goal is cash flow before managing it. My goal is to eliminate my debt and start over fresh with the knowledge and self-control I didn’t have at 20 getting my first credit card.
I promise to those of you who help me that your kindness and money will not go to waste. I promise to not take it for granted and use this moment at ‘rock bottom’ to learn and never return to it again. I promise that once I am financially stable again I will return to beggingmoney to help out those I can, and pay it forward.
